WIFT Crystal Awards

Women in Film and Television Toronto (WIFT) is Canada’s largest member-based, not-for-profit organization dedicated to the education, engagement, and empowerment of all women in the screen-based media industry.  

In 2020, WIFT was forced to pivot their annual Crystal Awards ceremony from an elegant ballroom celebration to the confines of individual living rooms over Zoom. To ensure the event’s success, it required a thoughtful communications strategy and seamless execution. Amanda Fruci Communications was contracted to assist with event communications (internal and external), PR and media relations, as well as social media content strategy and implementation.  

Working with the team at WIFT Toronto as well as an online-event production company, the 2020 WIFT Toronto Crystal Awards turned out to be a night to remember for over 200 attendees.
